Stok Kangri Base Camp– 01-day activity
Begin the trek from Leh to Stok by private car in the morning, finally reaching the starting point of the trek. Start the trekking process ascending towards the base camp of Stok Kangri and have the picturesque sight of Zanskar range and colorful hills. Frequently, you will come across some colorful Buddhist flags placed at the passes in Ladakh and in addition, there are possibilities of sighting some wild life like the ‘Takine’ or the Tibetan blue sheep.
Lunch at base camp. Then, walk back down to the Stok village passing through the gorge.
The locals of Kashmir still living in Stok Palace which is present at Leh, it is the place where Namgyal Dynasty ruling family of Ladakh resides at the present time.
Late in the afternoon, drive back to Leh arriving in the evening.
