Day 1

Arrival in Delhi

Arrival at New Delhi International Airport.

After completing the immigration formalities and collecting your luggage, our representative will meet you outside the terminal for the transfer to Delhi.

Arrival at the hotel and check-in. Standard check-in time is 14:00 hrs / Check-out time is 12:00 hrs.

Jama Masjid: One of the largest and most famous mosques in India, located near the Red Fort and Chandni Chowk, the oldest and busiest market in Old Delhi. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, Jama Masjid is among the most visited mosques in Delhi by pilgrims and tourists alike.

Rickshaw Ride in Old Delhi: The unique atmosphere of Delhi’s markets can best be experienced in Chandni Chowk and the narrow, bustling lanes filled with vendors and merchandise at all hours of the day. According to legend, like Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk market was also established during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.

Red Fort (Photo Stop): One of the masterpieces commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. Its construction took approximately 9 years and cost around 10 million rupees.

Raj Ghat: A memorial marking the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, known as the Father of the Nation and a symbol of world peace.

Laxmi Narayan Temple: Dedicated to Lord Narayan and his consort, Goddess Laxmi, the goddess of prosperity. Hence, the temple is popularly known as the Laxmi Narayan Temple.

India Gate: Located in the heart of New Delhi, the 42-meter-high India Gate is a triumphal arch standing at the center of a crossroads. Similar to its French counterpart, it commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during World War I.

Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House (Photo Stop): Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, Rashtrapati Bhavan stands on a 330-acre estate. Built in an imperial style, the Parliament House features an open veranda with 144 columns.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib: One of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras (places of worship), associated with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. It is also renowned for the sacred pool within its complex, known as the “Sarovar.”

Day 2

Delhi–Jaipur (281 Km, 5 hours)

After breakfast, departure for Jaipur.

Upon arrival, visit the Gemstone Craftsmanship Workshop: Observe skilled artisans cutting, polishing, and setting precious stones such as emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and diamonds. Each piece of jewelry is created using traditional techniques passed down through generations, preserving the royal heritage of Rajasthan.

Birla Mandir: Located at the foothills of Moti Dungri Fort, the Birla Temple is one of Jaipur’s most beautiful attractions. The temple looks especially stunning when illuminated at night. Construction of the temple began in 1977 and was completed in 1985. Attend the evening prayer ceremony at Birla Mandir.

Day 3

Jaipur

After breakfast, the day begins with sightseeing in Jaipur.

Amer Fort: Amer is a town covering an area of 4 square kilometers (1.5 square miles), located 11 kilometers (6.8 miles) from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.

Jal Mahal (Photo Stop): Jal Mahal is an architectural masterpiece located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The palace creates the illusion of floating on the lake, offering a truly breathtaking view.

City Palace: The City Palace of Jaipur, which includes Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, and several other buildings, is a magnificent palace complex in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan.

Jantar Mantar: This astronomical observatory features an equinoctial sundial consisting of a giant triangular gnomon with its hypotenuse parallel to the Earth’s axis.

Hawa Mahal (Photo Stop): It was built as a high-screened structure so that the royal women could observe street festivals and daily life without being seen from the outside.

Galtaji Temple: Also known as the Monkey Temple due to the large number of monkeys found there, this temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It was built in the 16th century by Diwan Rao Kriparam, advisor to King Sawai Jai Singh II.

Day 4

Jaipur–Abhaneri–Fatehpur Sikri–Agra (241 Km, 4 hours 30 minutes)

After breakfast, departure for Agra.

En route, visit Abhaneri: Chand Baori is the most famous stepwell in the region and one of the deepest and largest in India. Designed with 3,500 narrow steps spread across 13 levels, it reaches a depth of approximately 30 meters.

Fatehpur Sikri: Constructed in Indo-Islamic style, Sikri is a magnificent complex of red sandstone featuring palaces, mosques, temples, and other structures.

Day 5

Agra

After breakfast, the day begins with sightseeing in Agra.

Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays): One of the Seven Wonders of the World and a must-visit monument in India. It stands as a timeless symbol of the love shared between Emperor Shah Jahan and his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of this magnificent monument was completed in 1653 AD.

Agra Fort: Located on the banks of the Yamuna River, this crescent-shaped fort was commissioned by Akbar, one of the greatest Mughal emperors, in 1565.

Itimad-ud-Daulah: Built by Nur Jahan in memory of her father, Ghias-ud-Din Beg, who was granted the title “Itimad-ud-Daulah,” meaning “Pillar of the Government.”

Mehtab Bagh: This beautiful garden is located on the western bank of the Yamuna River and is perfectly aligned with the gardens of the Taj Mahal on the opposite side.

Day 6

Agra–Vrindavan–Delhi (237 Km, 4 hours)

After breakfast, departure for Delhi.

En route, visit Prem Mandir: Also known as the Temple of Divine Love, Prem Mandir is dedicated to Goddess Radha and Lord Krishna, as well as Lord Rama and Goddess Sita

ISKCON Temple: The Sri Krishna Balaram Temple in Vrindavan is recognized as the first temple built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). Constructed in 1975.

Upon arrival in Delhi, visit Akshardham Temple (Closed on Mondays): Widely acclaimed as an eternal place of devotion, purity, and peace, a dwelling place of God, a Hindu place of worship, and a spiritual and cultural complex dedicated to devotion, learning, and harmony.

Note: Sleeveless clothing, short pants, and shorts are not permitted. Electronic items are also not allowed inside the temple complex.

Transfer to the hotel.

Day 7

Delhi–Paro (By Flight)

After breakfast, departure for Paro.

Transfer to Delhi Airport according to the flight schedule for Paro.

Arrival at Paro International Airport.

Once you have completed the immigration procedures and collected your luggage, our representative will be waiting for you outside the terminal for the transfer to Thimphu.

Arrival at the hotel and check-in. Standard check-in time is 14:00 hrs / Check-out time is 12:00 hrs.

Upon arrival in Paro, transfer to Thimphu.

Thimphu: The capital of Bhutan and the center of government, religion, and commerce, Thimphu is a unique city with an unusual blend of modern development and ancient traditions.

Transfer to the hotel.

Visit the local market.

Local Handicraft Market: Admire examples of Bhutan’s fine traditional arts and crafts. Here you can purchase handwoven textiles, thangka paintings, masks, ceramics, slate and wood carvings, jewelry, and interesting items made from local materials.

Day 8

Thimphu

After breakfast.

Visit the National Library, which houses a vast collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts, and the Institute of Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School), where students undertake a six-year training course in the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan.

Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang): A short drive from the center of Thimphu, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of the valley from Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). You can pay homage and offer prayers to Buddha, the largest statue in the country, and then walk around and admire the valley.

King’s Memorial Chorten: Constantly surrounded by people chanting mantras and spinning prayer wheels. The construction of this monument was the idea of the Third King of Bhutan.

Trashichhoedzong: This impressive fortress-monastery houses the Secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty the King, and various government offices

Day 9

Thimphu–Gangtey (150 Km, 5 hours)

After breakfast, departure for Gangtey.

Along the way, visit Wangdue Phodrang: In the mountains east of Wangdue Phodrang lies the beautiful Phobjikha Valley, on whose slopes stands the great Gangtey Monastery, founded in the 17th century

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

After lunch, enjoy the Gangtey Nature Trail (distance: 5.5 km, duration: approximately 2 hours, difficulty level: easy).

This pleasant walk offers the opportunity to experience the charming atmosphere of the Phobjikha Valley. From the small hill overlooking Gangtey Goemba, the trail descends through flower-filled meadows to the village of Semchubara and, from there, through beautiful forests, reaches an open valley. The trail ends at the local community school after passing a chorten and Khewal Lhakhang.

Nyingmapa Monastery: Located on the western slope of the Gangtey Valley in Bhutan’s Black Mountains, it is also the largest Nyingmapa monastery in Bhutan

Day 10

Gangtey–Trongsa–Bumthang (150 Km, 5 hours 30 minutes)

After breakfast, departure for Bumthang.

Black-Necked Crane Information Centre: Located on the edge of the forest and wetlands along the main road of the Phobjikha Valley, the Black-Necked Crane Information Centre features an observation room equipped with high-powered telescopes and spotting scopes to enjoy the best views of the cranes.

Along the way, visit Chendbji Chorten: A stupa inspired by Swayambhunath in Kathmandu, with eyes painted on the four cardinal points. It was built in the 18th century by Lama Shida from Tibet to cover the remains of an evil spirit that was subdued here.

Trongsa Dzong: Built in 1648 as the seat of power in central and eastern Bhutan. Both the first and second Kings of Bhutan ruled the country from this ancient stronghold.

The Dzong: The Dzong is an impressive multi-level structure that follows the contours of the ridge on which it stands. Afterwards, visit the Ta Dzong, perched on the mountainside and built to protect Trongsa. Continue towards Bumthang via the Yutong La Pass (3,400 m).

Tang Valley: Tang Valley is a region of extraordinary beauty, rich in dense forests, majestic mountains, and crystal-clear rivers. There are numerous hiking trails to explore, and it is also possible to enjoy a peaceful walk through the valley while admiring the breathtaking scenery.

Burning Lake: Burning Lake, Mebar Tsho, is located along the route to Tang Village, on the side road below the Bumthang Valley. From Chamkhar, it takes approximately thirty minutes by car to reach Mebar Tsho.

Mebar Tsho: Mebar Tsho is considered one of the holiest sites in the region, as it is associated with the famous religious treasure discoverer (Terton), Terton Pema Lingpa. Pema Lingpa is believed to be the reincarnation of a disciple of Padmasambhava and discovered the lake’s treasure at the end of the 15th century.

Ugyen Choling Palace: Ugyen Choling Palace is a magnificent palace located in the Tang Valley. Built in the 19th century, it is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the palace and explore its remarkable architecture and the artworks preserved inside.

Day 12

Bumthang–Punakha (215 Km, 6 hours 30 minutes)

After breakfast, departure for Punakha.

Punakha Dzong: An impressive structure built at the confluence of two rivers, which served as the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and still functions today as the winter residence of the monks.

Upon arrival in Punakha, transfer to the hotel.

Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten: The trail ascends through chili, cabbage, and rice fields along the banks of the Mo Chu River to reach the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a magnificent monument recently built by the Queens and consecrated in 1999.

Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery: Perched on a ridge among pine trees and overlooking the valleys of Punakha and Wangdue Phodrang, the magnificent structures of the Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Temple stand proudly. The temple houses a 4.2-meter-high main bronze statue of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrigzig Chagtong Chentong

Day 14

Punakha–Paro (120 Km, 4 hours 30 minutes)

After breakfast, departure for Paro.

Chimi Lhakhang: From the hotel, it takes approximately 15 minutes by car to reach the main road, where the walk through rice fields and villages begins. The total walk takes about 1.5 hours round trip.

Simtokha Dzong: Afterwards, visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in the country, built in 1627 and now home to the School for Buddhist Studies.

Upon arrival in Paro, transfer to the hotel.

Ta Dzong: Originally built as a watchtower, it now houses the National Museum. Its extensive collection includes ancient thangka paintings, textiles, weapons and armor, household objects, and a rich collection of natural and historical artifacts.

Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong): Visit Ta Dzong and then enjoy a short walk along the trail to reach Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), meaning “Fortress of the Heap of Jewels,” with its long and fascinating history.

Taktshang Lhakhang or Tiger’s Nest (approximately 5 hours hike): Perched on the face of a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley, it is undoubtedly one of Bhutan’s most famous monasteries. According to tradition, Guru Rinpoche arrived here riding a tigress and meditated in this monastery, from which the name “Tiger’s Nest” is derived. This site was recognized as sacred and visited by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646, and today it is a pilgrimage destination for all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime. On April 19, 1998, a fire severely damaged the main structure of the building, but this Bhutanese jewel has since been restored to its original splendor.

Kyichu Lhakhang: Dating back to the 7th century, Kyichu Lhakhang is one of the 108 temples built in the Himalayas by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. The construction of this temple marked the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan.
