Day 1 – Arrival in Kolkata

Arrival at BhubneswarAirport.
After completing immigration procedures and collecting your luggage, our operator will be waiting for you outside the Terminal

Visit Babughat :- The most popular ghat along the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, among the many ghats built during the British era is the Babughat.

The Flower Market – Near the south-eastern end of Howrah Bridge, this flower market is charming and colorful virtually 24 hours a day. However, if you visit at dawn, you will see wholesalers arriving with huge shipments of flowers that are then auctioned off to retailers.

Armenian Ghat:-  Armenians were one of the first foreign settlers to come to Kolkata, a port city at the time. This particular ghat was built by one of these Armenian settlers, a famous Kolkata trader named Manvel Hazaar Maliyan in 1734. It has been known as the Armenian Ghat ever since.

Kumortuli (also spelled Kumartuli, or the archaic spelling Coomartally) is a traditional pottery district in North Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), the capital of the eastern Indian state of West Bengal.

The Mother House of the Missionaries of Charity is a sacred place of pilgrimage and reverence for those who are seeking a more meaningful existence.

The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, built between 1906 and 1921. It is dedicated to the memory of Queen Victoria (1819–1901) and is now a tourist destination and museum under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.

Day 2 – Kolkata

After breakfast the day begins.

Tollygunge Slums – Take a walk in the slum area where you can see various businesses; From rubber factories, leather bags, recycled plastic, small shops and open air laundries.

Kalighat Kali – The present temple building was built in the 19th century and is 200 years old. However, the reference to the temple has also been found in the 15th century composition of Mansar Bhasan and also in Kavi Chandi which was published in the 17th century

Pareshnath Jain Temple was built in 1867 by Rai Badridas Bahadur Mookim and pratishta was made by Sri Kalyansurishwarji Maharaj. It is one of the most revered and sacred shrines of Jains in Kolkata.

College Street is a 900 m long road in the centre of Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. Kolkata has its own “Boi Para” as College Street, which is the largest book-selling market in the country. David Hare founded Hindu College in 1817 with twenty scholars

Indian Coffee House – The history of the Coffee House at College Street can be traced back to Albert Hall, which was established in April 1876. Later, the Coffee Board decided to start a joint coffee house from Albert Hall in 1942.

Visit chitpur and bara bazaar district, this is a unique bazaar with its specialty in the way the shops are arranged and great services are provided for the shopping public.

Day 3 – Kolkata – Bhubneswar (By flight)

Udayagiri and Khandagiri: –  Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves formerly called Kattaka Caves or Cuttack Caves, are partly natural and partly artificial caves of archaeological, historical and religious importance near the city of Bhubaneswar in Odisha, India. The caves are situated on two adjacent hills.

Market Ashok Nagar: –  This shopping place is noisy and cramped but it has a different charm due to which it always remains crowded. Market Building is one of the oldest shopping places in the city from where you can buy clothes, footwear, souvenirs and even find numerous local food stalls. There are separate shops where you can find the type of item or product you want. Also, most of the items are available at the best prices.

Tribal Market in Pipli:-  The tarasa or heart-shaped wooden pieces made here are used in chariots during festivals. In fact, in Chandan Yatra, there are processions where deities are covered with chattris made of applique. This applique work dates back to ancient times

Shree Jagannath Temple (Photo Stop Outside):-  According to folklore, before being known as Jagannath (Lord of the Universe), the Lord was worshipped as ‘Purushottama’, the creator, protector and destroyer of the world.

Puri Beach Market: –  Choose from a wide range of authentic Odisha handloom sarees, dress materials and handicrafts, gorge on lip-smacking street food and soak up the cheerful vibes of the market.

Puri Beach or Golden Beach: –  Puri Beach or Golden Beach is a beach in the city of Puri, Odisha, India. It is on the shore of the Bay of Bengal. It is known as a tourist attraction and a Hindu holy place.

On arrival visit The Surya Mandir (Sun Temple):-  The Sun Temple of Konark, built in the mid-13th century, is a huge conception of artistic magnificence and engineering prowess. King Narasimhadeva I, the great ruler of the Ganga dynasty, built this temple, with the help of 1200 artisans over a period of 12 years (1243-1255 AD).

Enroute visit Chilika Lake at Barkul:-  Queen of natural beauty, Chilika, the largest brackish water lake in Asia covering an area of ​​over 1,100 sq km is a major attraction for tourists for fishing, bird watching and boating. In winter Chilika flutters with thousands of indigenous and migratory birds of many varieties from far and near even from distant Siberia.

At Chilika take a boat cruise to visit Bird Island (it is the paradise for resident and migratory birds) and Nalabana Island (it is a reed forest and famous for long range migratory birds in winter).

On arrival at Gopalpur transfer to hotel.

Along the way you will visit Taptapani. 

Taptapani:-  It is famous for a perennial hot spring of medicinal sulphuric water which is located on the state highways connecting Berhampur with Western Odisha. They say that their original home is “Bastaria” as they migrated from the Bastar area of ​​Madhya Pradesh (now Chatisgarh). Paraja is a conglomeration of various endogamous sections and is not a compact community. As compared to other tribal communities, they show some cultural differences, especially in the pattern of settlement, dress and ornaments, economic life, beliefs and worship, customs, manners and folk tradition.

Ovenight in Jeypore

En route visit Kunduli,  the weekly market of Paraja and Mali tribes (ONLY ON FRIDAY). It is the largest market in the tribal area. Stop at tribal villages of Sana Paraja, Sana Padar, Bada Padar. Proceed to Visakhapatnam.
