Arrival at Chennai International Airport.

Once you have completed immigration procedures and collected your luggage, our representative will be waiting for you outside the terminal.

After breakfast, continue the city tour of Chennai.

Manali-Rohtang pass-Jispa-Leh- Aryan Valley- Lamayuru-Sanjak-Khardung La-Hunder-Nubra-Pangong-Hanley-Tso Moriri

Day 1 will begin from reaching at Manali and take a rest.

Depending on the preferences of the clients, travel to Manali by private or public transport and get to the hotel that has been reserved earlier. Some suggestion when you have time after the trip: Spend the day in leisure at the hotel or one can also opt for visiting local market and famous tourist destinations at Manali.
In the evening, all the participants will be fitting with bikes for a trial ride.

Day 2 – This day will be cover the journey from Manali to Jispa traveling through Rohtang Pass which at 3980m and Jispa at 3200m.

Start the drive towards Jispa on the Manali-Leh Highway across Rohtang Pass which is famous for many no. of turns. After going through the mesmerising landscapes of Lahaul, reach Jispa in the evening.
Staying at a hotel in Jispa put up for the night since acclimatization is important before getting to Ladakh.

Day 3 - Bike ride from Jispa to Leh through Sarchu which is at (14,246 ft.) and Leh is at (11,550 ft.)

Today is going to be quite a long day as we shall be cycling to Leh. Here, as we are moving towards Sarchu, mountains are getting higher and vegetation cover is getting thinner. Cross high passes like Baralachala ,Lachungla and Nakeela; otherwise one will have to cross a winter pass. Cross the Sarchu checkpoints, cross Moore Plains and then climb over the Taglangla Pass.
An overnight accommodation would have to be made in a hotel in Leh.

Day 4 : Acclimatization and Local Sightseeing in Leh

Spend the day as a courtesy day or acclimatization day since the next destination is at an altitude of 11,135 feet. During the evening you do shopping in Leh market, Leh palace known as Lachen Palkhar and shanti stupa to see the real beauty of Leh town.

Day 5 : Leh to Aryan Valley by Road

In the morning after breakfast one special drive to Dha Hanu also known as Aryan valley where the people living are considered to be of the last of pure Aryans. Extensive driving will be done from Leh to Srinagar via Leh-Srinagar Highway passing through Hall of Fame museum and Mesmeric spot of Magnetic Hill and Confluence of Zanskar and Indus river.

Day 6 – Aryan Valley to Leh (cross by Lamayuru & Sanjak)

Return to Leh by the Sanjak road which is beautiful as well as comparatively less crowded. Proceed to visit the Chiktan Fort and Lamayuru Monastery famous for its beauty with a look and feel like Moon’s surface.

Day 7 – Transfer from Leh to Hunder (Khardung La – 5602m, Hunder – 4000m)

Head north of Leh for Nubra Valley overcoming Khardungla Pass – the highest all weather road in the world. Go to Diskit Monastery & Maitreya Buddha statue & then ride on a camel at Hunder Sand Dunes.

Day 8 was again the day dedicated for traveling as we left Nubra in the morning and traveled to Turtuk and back.

Day 9-Nubra to Pangong Tso – 4350 meters

Day 10-Ride Pangong Tso to Hanley

Leh-Sangam-Khardung La- Nubra-Pangong-Leh

Day 1 Arrival at Leh and acclimatization.

After that you will be transferred to Leh airport or bus stand to board your flight or take a bus to reach Leh and Check in to the Hotel which is booked for your stay. Find the best and complete rest to accustom the high altitude of 11, 135 feet. Overnight stay in Leh. In the evening, one can visit Leh Market, Leh Palace (Lachen Palkhar) and Shanti Stupa which is uphill from Changspa. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh to Sangam

Sangam – is located at a distance of 4 Km from Leh, the combination of physical elements of nature, reproduction of mythologies and ethnic motifs became the emblem of Ladakh.
After the next breakfast at the hotel, take a rest and then go for the tour through the Leh - Srinagar Highway. Go to Hall of Fame museum, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and finally, the confluence of Zanskar and Indus River. Go back to Leh and trek to Spituk Monastery. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3 – Leh to Khardung La (5359m) – Hunder (4067m)

Start a ride from Leh to Nubra Valley crossing Khardung La Pass which is the highest all-weather motorable pass in the world. Go to Diskit Monastery and the statue of Maitreya Buddha. Start your car and proceed to Hunder Sand Dunes and take a camel ride. Accommodation in a hotel in Nubra for a night.

Day 4 - Sightseeing at Turtuk Village with Shyok river, drive back to Nubra.

Drive post breakfast to Turtuk that was a part of Baltistan and under Pakistani control till 1971. Trek around the village and returned to Hunder in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 5 – Chumathang hot spring – flip flop ride, Nubra – Pangong Tso lake (4350m)

Go on a ride to the preeminent Pangong Lake, the largest brackish lake in Asia. This involves back tracking to Khalsar and then turn off at the Shayok Road. Take a trot along the curvilinear route to Merak which is the farthest one can proceed as a foreigner. Accommodation at a resort in Merak located on the edge on Pangong Lake.

Day 6 - Tangyud Chumathang (Lake) to Leh by car (192 – 220 km) descending from 4350 meters to 3500 meters.

Overnight stay in Leh. In the morning, no one will certainly miss the beautiful sunrise by the side of the lake. The location as well as the serenity one will find there is likely to make one wish to keep coming back more and more. The days ride will start soon after, through the nomadic land of Changthang the possibility of viewing some of the wild animals roaming around the vast stretches of Changthang free before crossing the Changla pass will be observed. While cycling make your way towards Khardungla Top after you have taken your first meal of the day that is breakfast. In this type of an event, an additional vehicle with all the logistical requirements including food, water, spare parts among other items will also be following you throughout the event.

Trek of Zingchen to Rumbek – 01-day activity

In the morning, we will leave for Zingchen which will be a 30 minutes’ drive passing by the Spituk bridge. Once we are in Zingchen, we will commence trekking. Increasingly the land will become confined to the valley and this will over time become more of a gorge.

Lunch will be provided in rumbak.

Later, a car will be available in Saboo to drop us back to Leh, If we are not comfortable in sharing this car then we need to arrange it individually.

Day 1 – Fly to Leh | Arrival

Book an early morning flight to Leh, which is considered one of the most scenic because it reveals a multitude of snow-capped mountains all along its route through the Himalayas and Karakoram Ranges. Ladakh, having a winter’s weather that is cold and harsh will require you to put on a jacket, your gloves, and hat from your handbag.
You can use this boarding pass as proof at medical centre for day three’s mandatory check-up on arrival.

This is an acclimatization day; therefore, take good rest and allow your body adjust in the new atmosphere. Remember to drink enough water throughout the day so as not to dehydrate yourself or indulge in any strenuous activities. Overnight stay in Leh.

Altitude: 11,400 ft.

Day 2 – Rest Day

There are more casualties and evacuations that had taken place hence the district administration advised staying without much movement during this period. You may visit points of interest such as Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace or Leh Bazaar in the evening.

Today’s proper acclimatization ensures tomorrow’s compulsory medical tests are passed. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3 Medical Check-up Today Medical Insurance Today Vehicle Permit Today

On the next day, you will receive a medical evaluation at the Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in Leh. This check-up is mandatory under the provisions of the District Administration for any person who intends to undertake the Chadar Trek. To overcome this board pass of the airlines where you have spent more than three days in Leh before trekking.

You will also get insurance from fonvenders at the TIC and get the NOC From the ALTOA office, and Trekking permits from the Wildlife Department. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4 Leh to Chilling & Shingra Kongma to Tsomo Paldar Drive for the day is 65 Kms trek is 3 Kms

After breakfast, one can embark onto the Leh-Srinagar Highway to reach Chilling. Lunch at NT Café, visit religious temple/ shrine Gurudwara Patshahi VIII Pathar Sahib, Enjoy the gravity defy place the magnetic hill, finally capture the picturesque scene at the confluence of river Indus & Zanskar. Drive across the Indus river and later move parallel to the Zanskar river until you get to Chilling.

Start walking towards Shingra Kongma, familiarize yourself with the feeling of having Gumboots and master the art of penguin walk to have better leverage on the ice surface. Camp at 3550m; spend the night at Shingra Gongma on the banks of the Zanskar river. Overnight stay in tents.

Altitude: We drive downhill to an elevation of 11,480 ft and drop to 10,550 ft.

Day 5 SMT: Shingra Kongma to Tibb Cave

This is followed by a hot tea & breakfast, and then the 5-6 hours trek to reach the Tibb Cave. It is as beautiful as restricted and this trekking has caves, marvelous rocks, and even water fallages that are icy. Food will be offered during lunch break in between the event. Tent accommodation is the spend the night in the tents at Tibb.

Altitude: Thus, it is ranged from 10,400 to 10,800 ft.

Day 6 Tibb cave to Naerak camp GiỊ

Move up towards Neraks/Nerags, the most photograph ed and beautiful site along the Chadar Trek. To summarize, it’s worth to visit Nerags village if there is time to do that to plunge into the life of the locals, the Zanskar people, who are rather isolated from the rest of Ladakh.

Altitude: To be more precise these lakes lie at an elevation of 10,800ft and 11,100 ft more or less.

Day 7 – The trail for the day is from Naerak to Tibb Cave.

After breakfast then head back to the cottage at Tibb Cave. The Chadar trail has undergone some changes each time it gets frozen, and the return journey is a tough one too. At Tibb Cave, they we spend the night in camping.

Altitude: A – 11,100 ft to 10.800 ft.

Day 8: We started walking at 8:00 AM from Tibb Cave to Shingra Gongma at an average altitude of 4,950 m.

Later, again proceed towards Shingra Gongma over the steep and narrow gorges. In transit, locals as the porters, in their simple carrying items necessary for their daily use or on their way back to Zanskar as the Chitruk Nunnery clearly depicts. Depending on the time of the day or year, one might possibly catch sight of wildlife. Shingra Gongma is one of the major attractions of the Laprak trek which one can have overnight camping at this place.

Altitude: Stage 3, between 10,800 feet and 10,500 feet.

Day 9 - Shingra Gongma to Shingra Yokma & back to Leh

Signing the register at 5 AM and had the pony ready at 6.30 AM after breakfast.June 17, Sunday – KAZA to REKONG. Left Kagchi for Shingra Gongma and reached there by 9.45 AM to find that the army had just vacated this place.Visited the mountain and back to Shingra Yokma had lunch and after that left for Leh reached Leh at 7 PM

Finish the last leg of Chadar trekking from Shingra Gongma to Chilling. Once you are at Chilling, a drive to Leh will be arranged. Stay overnight in Leh.

Altitude: It covers 10,500 ft declining to 10,300 ft and rising again to 11,400 ft by motor vehicle.

Stok Kangri Base Camp– 01-day activity

Begin the trek from Leh to Stok by private car in the morning, finally reaching the starting point of the trek. Start the trekking process ascending towards the base camp of Stok Kangri and have the picturesque sight of Zanskar range and colorful hills. Frequently, you will come across some colorful Buddhist flags placed at the passes in Ladakh and in addition, there are possibilities of sighting some wild life like the ‘Takine’ or the Tibetan blue sheep.

Lunch at base camp. Then, walk back down to the Stok village passing through the gorge.
